Climate: South Africa has two distinct seasons: Winter (June-August) with night temperatures at 3 – 8 °C and daily temperatures at 15 – 23 °C.
Summer: (September – May) At night and in the early mornings it is cool. Daily temperatures reach in average 23 – 35 °C. It can be very hot from December to February.
The main rain season is from mid October to end March. Usually these are short storms, which do not influence the hunting.
